As Durham city officials move forward with a pilot program that adds unarmed first responders, Housing for New Hope’s Executive Director, Russell Pierce, shared on ABC11 how this could benefit people experiencing homelessness. It’s not only good in the moment, but it’s also really good in the long haul for someone for their life.”
