Be a Landlord

Housing for New Hope Landlord Partners:
  • Rent units at a fair and reasonable rate
  • Work closely with the Housing Location & Navigation Team to find solutions to rental barriers, such as low credit, past eviction or a criminal background
  • Fill vacant units without the hassle of advertising. Our support can speed up the leasing process.
  • Housing for New Hope offers special cash incentives to new and returning landlord partners
  • Tenants receive ongoing case management support, including life skills training on landlord/tenant relationships, financial management, timely rent payments and effective housekeeping
  • Our Housing Location & Navigation Team is available to assist you with questions or concerns.

  • The Unlocking Doors Initiative is a coalition of agencies dedicated to providing housing assistance to unhoused families and individuals with a mission to end homelessness.

Annual Breakfast
 Held each Spring, our Annual Breakfast has become a Durham tradition as we gather to celebrate with great food surrounded by many of our community’s top leaders tackling the affordable housing crisis and the need for stronger support for our most vulnerable neighbors.
