Housing for New Hope Events

January 25: Downtown Durham
Annual Point-in-Time Count
Once per year, Durham County seeks to capture the number of individuals experiencing homelessness in the area. This year, Housing for New Hope has been named the lead agency for this effort. Each team will have a team leader to direct the team during the night.

Sign up today for one of our teams and we will email you with training date opportunities and details related to the night of the event, January 25, 2023 from 7:30pm to 11:30pm. This data is critical for us to assess our program reach for the year and communicate Durham's need to grant organizations.
January 31: Streaming Online
Coffee & Conversation with Brian Goldstone
Join us Tuesday, January 31 for a livestream event featuring a discussion on housing issues observed in Durham, the greater Triangle area, and the country.

This edition of C&C features Brian Goldstone, anthropologist, reporter, and author of the forthcoming book, The New American Homeless. Brian’s work follows families that are caught in between what many policymakers consider a state of homelessness and a position of housing stability. RSVP via Zoom.
