What is LUEWWD (pronounced, “lewd”)? LUEWWD is the League of Upper Extremity Wrestling Women. And they are raising money for our Dove House at their arm wrestling tournament, Saturday, February 19, at the Casbah in Durham. Doors open at 7 pm. Go to the LUEWWD website for more information. Our own Jessie Hughes (mild mannered transitional housing coordinator by day, “the Peacemaker” by night) will be going for gold. And Sam “Big Daddy” Whitted, Phoenix House alumni and board member, will be a judge for the tournament. We hope you can join us for the fun!
